The spa park of Bad Kreuznach
Clearly, the spa guest wants to stroll, relax and be entertained close to the city. The 4.3-hectare English-style spa park is located directly on the Nahe River. Created in 1840, it is bordered by a bank wall. On it runs a promenade for the spa guests. In the north there is a pavilion at the Elisabethenquelle. Originally it served as a brine drinking cure, then as a wine tasting stand (the nearby region is an important wine-growing area of Germany), today it is a park café. Music pavilion and dance floor complete the recreational offer. To the south, a graduation house and a brine fountain join the park - so it becomes more medicinal. The path along the Nahe to the south is then blocked by the spa itself.
