The Oranienpark of Bad Kreuznach

Oranienpark in Bad Kreuznach

The park was created on the site
of a medieval monastery. It is named after Princess Maria of Orange, the wife
of the Count Palatine of Zweibrücken, who once lived there. Until 1930, the
most beautiful hotel in the city was located there.
The park is designed, at least in
parts, according to the Baroque model - symmetrical flower beds and pergolas
with blue roses and roses surround a water basin. Part of the park is used by a
large miniature golf course. There is also a restaurant. Attached to it is a concert
shell. Clearly - this was for the entertainment of the spa guests of the city.
