The spa park of Bad Münster am Stein

The spa park of Bad Münster am Stein

Not far from Bad Kreuznach, another spa is found on the banks of the Nahe River. Here, not only the salt content of the water plays a role, but also its content of radioactive radon. The gas can be inhaled in galleries or taken as a drinking cure. The spa park itself is unspectacular - if it weren't for the view. The Rheingrafenstein rock with its castle ruins rises directly on the river bank. But the main attraction is the Kurmittelhaus. With its curved gables and roofs, the house built in the baroque Art Nouveau style is a very special half-timbered building. It was designed and built in 1910/1911 by the Freiburg architect Robert Mühlbach.
